In Memoriam
Vi was a long time member of Sweet Adelines and a charter member of Renaissance Rhythm Chorus (1999). She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was very involved in her church choir and the music ministry at the church. She graduated from Geneva College in 1989 with a B.A. in Communications. We think that’s where she learned to talk so fast! Though communications was her field of study, Vi would much rather sing than talk! She was ever positive. When asked, "How are you?" her reply was always the same. "Wonderful," she would say.

She left a void in Renaissance Rhythm Chorus and our bass section when she was stricken with ovarian cancer in the fall of 2007. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. We miss her, and will forever keep her memory close to our hearts.
